Payments
During checkout, you can pay for your booking securely using a credit card or PayPal.
For the security deposit, you have two options:
Pay online using the same method at checkout (credit card or PayPal),
Or choose to pay in person via cash, Zelle, or Venmo when we meet before your rental begins.
Please ensure the security deposit is settled prior to the start of your rental.
Gas
At Boats Sharing, we offer flexible fuel options to suit your rental experience:
Hourly Rentals
- Unlimited Gas Option: For a flat fee, we provide one full tank of gas — no need to refill or track usage.
- Pay Per Use: If you don’t select the Unlimited Gas option, you’ll typically start with a full tank. After your rental, we’ll calculate the fuel used based on the fuel gauge, and charge $3.50 per gallon. This amount will be deducted from your security deposit.
Tow & Go Rentals
Jet skis must be returned with a full fuel tank.
If returned with less than a full tank, a refueling charge at $4 per gallon will be applied and deducted from your security deposit.
Insurance
Our boats are covered by commercial insurance, which includes liability and medical coverage. However, renters are responsible for any damages incurred during the rental period.
To ensure proper protection, renters must:
- List all participants in the checkout form.
- Sign the rental agreement and waiver.
- Ensure that each participant signs the waiver as well.
Additionally, renters and participants are required to follow all safety rules throughout the rental period.
